I remember when I first attended Z100 Zootopia in 2001. I was one of those fans who called in to win tickets from the very first day tickets were being given away that year. Lucky for me, I ended up winning tickets… the day before the concert! I remember seeing some of my favorite artists, including Nelly Furtado and Jessica Simpson.

Then, in 2003, I attended Z100 Zootopia again. That year, I bought tickets for myself and a friend. I remember going crazy when TLC performed and being in awe of Britney Spears when she walked out onto the stage 2 or 3 times as a co-host for the night. I had a blast both times. This year was no different. Well…actually it was since I was backstage at the IZOD Center last night.

The concert began at 7:30pm and I could hear the crowds roar in the arena from backstage. Who wouldn’t with the all star lineup there was that night? Jesse McCartney, Ciara, The All-American Rejects, Soulja Boy, Kelly Clarkson, Flo Rida, and Black Eyed Peas all performed. Best of all, Sean Paul and Gossip Girl star, Taylor Momsen co-hosted the event.
