Terri: I reek of management potential!
Created by Ryan Murph (NIP/TUCK), Glee is an incredible story following Spanish teacher, Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) who takes over the glee club in hopes of taking the club to the Nationals. The club is filled with many dynamic characters, all of whom I just loved. Every character is unique and stands out. I look forward to more character development. The cast is phenomenal and I cannot name a more talented cast of singers and actors on television today. The main focus of those joining the glee club was put on little miss diva, Rachel (Lea Michele) and quarterback of the football team, Finn (Cory Monteith). I do not know if these two characters will become a serious item in the future but that is where it looks like things are heading. Not to be out done, the glee club rivals are the cheerleaders aka the “Cheerios.” Quinn is the leader of this pack. She is also the president of the celibacy club which I found was quite the joke after seeing this character.
Aside from taking over the glee club, Will has a wife, Terri (Jessalyn Gilsig) who believes that she is pregnant…but it does not look like Will is as happy in the relationship as Terri. We’ll see what comes of these two. Now this show is definitely a laugh-out-loud comedy. The dialogue is so witty and very well written. As a big fan of musicals and music in general, I am looking forward to the songs that Glee will cover. There were many guest stars, if you blinked you could have missed them! I definitely cannot wait to until this musical comedy comes out in the fall on FOX. It is definitely worth the wait and all of the hype it will get over the summer.
